Transition Work - 2025

Dear prospective Year 12 students,

We are looking forward to welcoming you to Urmston Grammar Sixth Form in September. After concluding GCSE studies, we would like all Year 11 students to benefit from a long and relaxing break to catch up with friends and family, engage in hobbies and enjoy the summer. It's also important that students begin their A-Level studies equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed. It is for this reason that we would ask any student intending to join Urmston Grammar Sixth Form to complete the transition tasks for the subjects they intend to study at A-Level.

Please find below transition tasks for each of our A-Level subjects. These should be completed and brought into school when lessons begin at the start of September.
