well-being

At Urmston Grammar, we are committed to supporting the welfare and wellbeing of every member in our community. The management of personal wellbeing is unique to every individual, but through comprehensive training and support, we will endeavour to educate everybody who plays a part in Urmston Grammar, be that as a pupil, teacher, carer or parent.

Central to this, is providing students with coping mechanisms to deal with the challenges they will inevitably face. Stress and anxiety are a normal response and we will all feel those pressures on a regular basis. However, on occasions, this stress can overwhelm. Where this is the case and people are struggling to manage, we encourage them to speak out, seek support and take positive steps to progress. Our students are more than the sum of their grades, and through nurturing and supporting them through challenges, they can flourish and achieve their full potential.
