Urmston Grammar Open Evening 2025

Traffic in the Urmston area is likely to be very busy on Wednesday so where possible we recommend walking or using public transport. If travelling by car, it is advisable to park at either Golden Hill Park Car Park (M41 5AT) or for free at Eden Square Shopping Centre (M41 0NA). Both are only a short walk to Urmston Grammar School. If parking within the surrounding area, please be mindful of local residents. Please avoid driving down Newton Road. This is likely to be very congested and with limited parking. No parking is available on the school site except for Blue Badge Holders. Please email office@urmstongrammar.org.uk to arrange an accessible parking space if needed. |
We warmly invite you to attend our annual Open Evening where you will have the opportunity to meet our fantastic students, staff and view our excellent facilities.
Throughout the evening there will be 5 presentations from our Headteacher, Co-Headteacher, staff and students. These will take place at 4.30pm, 5.15pm 6.00pm, 6.45pm and 7.30pm.
Tickets for each presentation will be allocated during the evening on a first-come-first-served basis.
As we expect large numbers to attend this event, we kindly request visitors to attend one of two sessions in order to distribute visitors throughout the evening:
Session 1 from 4.00–5.45pm for those registered to sit the entrance examination from the following postcode areas: M41, M31, M32 and M21.
Session 2 from 6.00–8.00pm from any other postcode areas from further afield and those who are not on the previous list.
