Our Year 8 scientists, who are pursuing the Crest Science award in a fantastic extracurricular and enrichment opportunity led by Mrs Walsh and Mrs Yarwood, have been working hard this week after school on devising and developing their projects.

Just some of the students involved are pictured above and below in one of our I.T. suites after school, brainstorming and planning their individual and collaborative projects.

In our lead picture: Christianna and Yasasvi, who will be investigating dehydration.

Pictured below are Arwen and Theo, who can be seen developing their project on wind turbines, and Thomas (front) on waste free and zero-packaging lunches.

Zoya and Kirishika, below, are investigating the scientifically perfect cup of tea, and conducting research amongst the school community as we speak!

Other projects in the pipeline include a probe into how rockets work.
