year 13 celebration of achievement

Set for success and a fantastic way to end the first week back!
Head of Year Mr Neale was delighted today to host a special celebration event for the students in Year 13, who are starting this new academic year on a high, having truly impressed staff as they finished Year 12 in the summer with their record of achievement, academic attainment, commitment to learning, and progress.
They are pictured above at break in the Conference Room, enjoying their well-deserved moment, and the selection of treats on offer.
Mr Neale expressed his pride in their achievements throughout Year 12: for their excellent results, with many achieving above their target grades in the end-of-year exams; for their outstanding approach to learning, with many having been awarded the highest ranking mark for this in all of their subjects; and for the hugely impressive progress achieved by others.
Mr Neale encouraged all to embrace their Year 12 success and to carry forward this momentum throughout the hugely important year ahead.
Head of Sixth Form and Assistant Head of School Miss Lingwood, Assistant Head Miss Lowe, and Co-Heads Mrs Wall and Mr Kennedy-Fowler were also keen to celebrate with the students and to share their pride in them, with Mrs Wall observing that the commitment and drive that they have demonstrated is a solid base and building block for academic success moving forward as they continue their studies, as well as for their future professional and personal lives. As Mrs Wall added, their amazing set of end-of-year results and superb progress should equip them with huge confidence for all that the future holds.
Really, really well done all, and we cannot wait to share updates on the progress of our amazing Year 13 cohort.
