delighted to welcome our students back

It has been our pleasure today to welcome back our students after the summer break, and to also extend a huge, warm UGS welcome to our brand new cohort of Year 7 and Year 12 students.

After celebrating the phenomenal exam results of our students in August, we are excited to start a new academic year with UGS vigour; and we know that all of our students are keen to fully embrace their programmes of study, and the extracurricular and student-leadership opportunities on offer. And, of course, to engage with all the exciting events and initiatives that are planned for the coming months by our House Leaders and Prefects.

Some of our students can be seen above enjoying their very first lunch break of the new term on the front field, while, in a true display of dedication, others took the opportunity to use the break to study, including some of our Year 8s pictured below in the LRC:
