year 8 in paris

First day of activities for our students in the French capital

At around 4am yesterday morning, a cohort of our Year 8 students and staff set off from Urmston to cross the Channel for a 5 day trip to the culturally significant and historically rich French capital, where they will enjoy many opportunities to develop and flex their French-speaking skills and comprehension.

Arriving at their accommodation yesterday evening, they awoke this morning ready for a full day's programme of events, with some sightseeing at the majestic Tour Eiffel:

And a visit to the imposingly beautiful Montmatre and Sacre Coeur.

With time then for a cruise on the River Seine.

Tomorrow promises yet more cultural and linguistic enrichment and enlightenment for our students, with the Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie museum, the Musee d'Orsay, and Montparnasse Tower all on the agenda, and we cannot wait to share updates!
