opportunity of a lifetime for 3 of our students

Back in October, many in the UGS school community got to enjoy an amazing fundraising evening when the phenomenal Don't Stop Queen Now raised our roof with a show-stopping performance.

It was not only a night to remember, but had a worthy cause: to raise funds for 3rd Davyhulme Scout Band to travel to perform and showcase their very own talents in the Main Parade at Disneyland Paris.

In an amazing achievement, the band were selected for this opportunity after undergoing a national audition process, beating off tough competition.

Three of our students: Will 8M, Lara 9T & Haris 12U are band members and are pictured above, with Will playing euphonium, and Lara and Haris drums.

We are now delighted to share news that the time is almost upon us for the band to cross the channel for this opportunity of a lifetime, and they will perform in the main parade this Sunday 26th May.

We could not be more proud of our students and the band, and we wish them the very best of luck this weekend.
