fantastic opportunity for talented musician diego

We're really proud to share more news about our accomplished Year 11 musician, Diego.

As we have previously shared, Diego successfully achieved selection to the prestigious and competitive Royal Northern College of Music Young Artists programme. And this week, he was one of seventeen who were invited to visit Sony Music HQ in London.

In a simply amazing opportunity, the Young Artists got to perform to an invited audience from Sony Music Network.

Diego delivered a fantastic performance, and received high praise not only from Sony and music industry professionals, but also from RNCM principal Linda Merrick.

They were also given a tour of the fabulous new London HQ in KX, which boasts a live event space, recording and photography studios, roof terrace, library and listening rooms.

This was a really great, unique, and inspirational opportunity to visit a famous and respected music corporation and to meet with working professionals in the field; and to sample the awe-inspiring facilities available to the artists and employees.

As Diego himself says, it was: "fantastic to be at Sony HQ and to be able to play live with the band amongst very important music industry professionals".
