After busy WBD celebrations at UGS last week, they are continuing apace with the arrival of the Book Fair!

There's a great range of over 300 new and best-selling titles to choose from, and students will be able to redeem their WBD vouchers against the purchase of a book.

Many were keen to take a first look:

The Fair will be open during lunchtime everyday until the end of the week.

All sales help us to earn free books for school, and it is fantastic that so many of our students get involved.

And a huge shout out to the ace student reading ambassador team who are helping to run it this year, and who are demonstrating our core UGS community values, as well as ably supporting our ongoing Literacy programme: Year 11 Thomas, Year 10s Aizah, Laura and Yasmin, and Year 8s Beatrice, Niamh and Ananya.

And following our fantastic House WBD Book swap last week, in which all students who took part had their names entered into a prize draw, as there were so many who participated, we decided to draw not one but two names out of the hat, and we are now delighted to announce that the lucky winners are Kelvin 7S and Daban 7T who are pictured below.
