time for a new maths mystery & celebrating February's champions!

Well done & a new month can only mean one thing in our Maths department: time for a new challenge!

As we welcome a new month here at UGS, the Maths department are keen to set a new challenge for our keen KS3 mathematicians, and, as it is Pi Day on 14th March, then naturally Pi is the focus of the quandaries for this month!

As you will know, February saw both Valentine's and Chinese New Year-themed Maths challenges, and the department were thrilled with the level of participation from our KS3 students, who demonstrated that they were eager to flex their arithmetical skills in order to work their way onto the wall of fame, and to earn coveted points for their Houses at the same time.
