school council charity bake sale & competition results!

Our students have again done us proud as we finish for Half Term with their fantasic level of participation in the Valentines's Day Cake & Bake Competition and Sale organised by our fantastic School Council team in aid of the British Heart Foundation. 

In our lead picture and below are just some of the cakes and bakes made by our kind-hearted students and brought in to sell in aid of this fantastic cause.

School Council leader Miss Murray could not be more delighted with how students got behind this great event, and is pleased this afternoon to announce both the winners of the competition and the awesome sum raised from sales: "Thank you to all who joined our Valentine's Bake Off today! Together, we raised an impressive £139.95 for the British Heart Foundation. The competition was fierce, with so many amazing entries!" 

The winners are: Ellie 8U, Caitlyn 11U, Selina & Maggie 8T, and Alfie 7U

At break, a hugely impressive number of students gave their time to show their support, and a managed queue filed into the Conference Room from the corridor to browse and buy the magnificent home-made bakes on sale!
