year 12 ice-skating trip today

Great opportunity for Year 12 to have fun & relax after all their hard work this term!

It was fantastic this afternoon for the whole of Year 12 to come together to enjoy a festive trip out as a reward for all their efforts this term.

In what is a UGS Sixth Form tradition at this time of year, Year 12, accompanied by the Sixth Form Team and associated staff, headed off to Altrincham to enjoy its fantastic ice-skating facility, and to hit the rink for much earned R&R:

It was smiles all round, as you can see:

The party spirit was strong, and in a bold move on the frozen surface, they even broke out into the Conga!

A fantastic way to round off the term and to consolidate the spirit of our amazing Sixth Form community.

And there's still lots to look forward to before we finish, including the charity dodgeball tournament, and the end of term achievement celebrations!

With huge thanks to Head of Year Mr Neale and the Sixth Form Team for organising this event for Year 12, and to all the staff who supported the trip.
