more swimming success!

We've already shared news this week about Year 8 Matthew's haul of swimming medals, and now we can add that he has also contributed to more UGS success in the pool this week by winning the 50m Backcrawl at the Trafford Swimming competition on Tuesday evening at St Ambrose.

But in what was a fantastic night for our Year 10 swimming team - pictured above: Oliver, Year 9 Monty, Jack and Albert - Head of PE Mr Bradshaw is thrilled to share that they won the 50m Freestyle Relay. 

There were also individual triumphs as well as Matthew's: Albert (4th left) won 50M Breaststroke, and Jack (3rd left) won 50m Butterfly.

Really well done all, keep up the amazing strokes and we can't wait to hear what's next!
