launch of December maths mystery board!

We shared news last week about the KS3 students who had worked their way onto the November Maths Mystery Board wall of fame by impressing their teachers by rising to the challenge of successfully solving a range of Bonfire Night-themed mathematical conundrums ... 

Well, the wait is now over for this month's challenge, as, in the spirit of the festive season, Year 12 students Alexa, Meenakshi and Leah have created December's board, which, as you can see, is a fabulously collated array of Yuletide-designed puzzles:

Details of how students from Years 7 & 8 can compete and get involved have been circulated to them and will be listed on SMHW.

And there are house-points up for grabs for those who take part!
