stop motion science

Amazing work produced this morning by our Year 11 Scientists!

Pictured above and below are just some of our Year 11 Scientists who have really impressed their teacher Mrs Walsh - and themselves - in class this morning.

They have been studying meiosis - a form of cell division - in comparison with mitosis - a process of cell duplication, and they were tasked with using a range of craft resources to create stop-motion animations in order to illustrate these processes and the comparative differences.

As you can see from just some of the students pictured: Millie, Ben & Yami (first photograph) and Cassie, Year 11 fully engaged with and thoroughly enjoyed the task, and their inspired creations admirably demonstrate their understanding of the subject matter, and their commitment to learning.

Really well done all, with huge thanks to Mrs Walsh and the students for sharing their work with us!
