`tis the season to save the date for the pta christmas fair

Please clear your calendars for 8th December!

As detailed in letters sent home last week, the PTA have set the date for the UGS Christmas Fair, always a fabulous event and a lovely opportunity for the wider school community, students, staff, parents and carers to come together in the spirit of the season, to enjoy refreshments, to buy gifts and treats, and to raise funds for school.

Full details of the many ways in which students, parents and carers can support the event have been circulated in the letters home, but in summary they are:

Non-Uniform Day on Friday 8th December in exchange for donations for the Fair, with suggestions per year group: Year 7 Rainbow gifts; Years 8 & 9 Chocolates; Year 10 Christmas Toiletries, Chocolates and Confectionery; Year 11 Festive Gifts; and Sixth Form: bottle for the Tombola Stall (alcohol is permitted).

The PTA is also seeking donations of raffle prizes: these can be, for example, new items or services, such as vouchers, a meal out, or a haircut.

If you or anyone you know could offer a prize for the raffle, the PTA can promote the company name at the event. Please contact Joanne Daley through the School office or email pta@urmstongrammar.org.uk if you are able to offer a prize, or would like further information about this.

Finally, if you would like to help out on the evening, or in setting up the event; or if you would like to run a stall yourself for £10 plus a donation from your stall for the raffle, then please email the PTA on the above contact.

The Christmas Fair is always joyfully fantastic, and it is the generosity of our amazing wider school community that makes it such a success.

Huge thanks for your continued support, and we look forward to seeing you all on 8th December!
