It's been a great first day of the new academic year here at UGS.

And it has been fantastic to welcome our new and existing students back to school, not least with our brand-new signage, pictured above!

After spending time meeting with their new form tutors and peers, our students enjoyed the inaugural assemblies of the year, with Years 7-11 pictured in our lead photo, and Sixth Form above & below.

Mr Kennedy-Fowler and the leadership team shared and celebrated our excellent summer of results with the students, including our best ever A level results.

Mr Kennedy-Fowler also reflected on and reiterated our core values, while looking forward to what promises to be another fantastic year at UGS.

It's been a rewarding first day of their UGS journey for our new cohort of students, and we look forward to sharing updates on all that they achieve!
