best results ever!

The sun was shining as results day was finally upon us, and rightly so as our wonderful Year 13 students have secured fantastic outcomes after all their hard work, and we are proud to announce that we have achieved our best A level results ever!

The outstanding results for the year group signify that overall a truly impressive 76% of our students achieved grades A*-B, with 42% achieving grades A*-A and 10% A*.

Staff, including Mrs Wall (in lead picture with former Lead Prefect Haris and family) and Head of Sixth Form Miss Lingwood (pictured above), were delighted to join our students, parents and carers as they excitedly collected their results.

Huge numbers of our students secured places at their first choice of prestigious university, including Jasmine, pictured first on left below, who, in a truly outstanding achievement, scored FOUR A* grades, and will now go on to study Medicine at Edinburgh University.

A significant number of our students secured places at Oxbridge and on highly competitive courses including Medicine, Veterinary Science and Law, such as Matthew, pictured below, who is bound for Oxford to study Medicine.

We could not be more proud of all that our Year 13 students have achieved and are delighted with their hugely well-deserved success after all their hard work, dedication and commitment to learning.

We wish them the very best of luck as they embark on their next steps and look forward to seeing them again in a few months for our Celebration evening.

And we are very much looking forward to welcoming our Year 11 students back to school next week to collect their GCSE results!
