European day of languages
Fantastic celebration with activities, food and fun throughout the day!
Our MFL department organised a programme of events for our Year 7 students to celebrate European Day of Languages.
As Head of Languages Mr Bridge explains: "European Day is a lovely opportunity for Year 7 to round off a successful year of language learning by getting out of the classroom and doing something a bit different.
They really rose to the challenge of using their French and German in new contexts and playing games with their friends, all in the target languages.
As well as showing off their singing (and dancing) prowess at the end.
Bravo Year 7 and thanks to all the staff.
And to the Year 12 helpers who made it possible".
And, of course, to our Year 7 students who made such an effort to rise to the theme of the occasion!
