battle of the bands

Yesterday, it was time for our talented Year 9 musicians and performing artists to face off in what is becoming an iconic moment on the UGS calendar: BATTLE OF THE BANDS!

Organised by Mr Harrison, all of Year 9 are invited to take part in this rocking opportunity.

And they did not fail to deliver, with a string of strong performances.

Thoroughly enjoyed by their audience of peers and staff.

It was a tough call for the judges to choose winners, but after much deliberation, they awarded winners' medals to Tug and Edward for their standout rendition of Radiohead's Fake Plastic Trees.

Really well done all, you smashed it! Huge thanks to Mr Harrison and to all the staff who supported the event. Bring on BOTB 2026!
