6th form taster day

Today, we have been delighted to welcome a great many year 11 students from schools across our region, as well as from UGS, to our 6th Form taster day.

Opening with a welcome presentation in our theatre from Head Mrs Wall (pictured below), Head of 6th form Miss Lingwood and Assistant Head of Sixth Form and Head of Year 12 2025/6 Mr Neale.

Our guests then enjoyed a series of taster lessons in their chosen A-level subjects, including Chemistry:

Biology:

Physics:

English:

Maths:

and Psychology:

At break-time, there was the opportunity to meet more members of our staff community, our current students, and, of course, each other, all while enjoying some all-important refreshments!

The day ended with a Q&A with our Sixth Form team and a farewell (for now!) from our Head Mrs Wall and Co-Head Mr Kennedy-Fowler.

A fantastic experience for all, and we are greatly looking forward to welcoming our new Sixth Form intake in September!
