A new team for this year welcomes Year 10 students for the first time!
After a hugely successful year in 2024 for our Model United Nations Club, they relaunched this week with a newly appointed Year 12 leadership team following the departure of Year 13 for the start of their A level exams.
In a brand-new initiative, the club was excited to welcome new members from Year 10, who were keen to take advantage of the opportunity to participate.
As detailed on the United Nations website, the premise of MUN is to enable and facilitate the engagement of students with the UN's goals and objectives, and participation in the simulations and debates supports a student's personal, academic, ethical and professional development, and is hugely positively impactful to the pathways that they aim to pursue.1
MUN club will continue to meet weekly and preparations are well underway for the forthcoming WiMUN25 conference that will take place in June. We cannot wait to share updates on all that our team achieves!
