goodbye & good luck to our trainee teachers

We have been delighted to welcome a number of University of Manchester ITTs (Initial Teacher Trainees) this year as part of our ongoing provision, and pictured above on their last day with us are just two: Finty, and international student Riza.

Working with staff subject mentors and our Head of I.T.T Mrs Dooley, Finty has been teaching in our Art & Design department, and Riza in Business Studies. We have also been joined by Finn, who has worked in our MFL department (and is attending a job interview today - good luck!), and Fern, who has been working in Biology.

Riza has already successfully secured a teaching post in Reading, and Fern at Rochdale College, and they are both very much looking forward to taking up their appointments.

We greatly appreciate the contribution that all the ITTs have made to teaching and learning and our whole school community during their time with us, and we wish them the very best of luck in the next steps in their careers!
