year 10 geographers head to wales

A climatic start to our Year 10 Geography field trip!

A view from the coach as our intrepid Year 10 geographers cross the border to Gwynedd, in readiness for 3 days of fieldwork, exploration and investigation.

Their approach to the first port of call Llandudno was a little soggy:

But their brief today was to conduct human fieldwork, before heading to their accommodation in beautifully scenic Betws-y-Coed.

This evening our students enjoyed the much-anticipated curry night at the residential centre, and it did not disappoint, leaving everyone looking forward to breakfast in the morning.

This will set them up for the day's programme of activities that includes gathering data in Criccieth and applying classroom learning.

Hopefully in drier conditions!
