Launch of our Electives enrichment programme for 2026/7!
This afternoon saw the launch of our Year 12 Electives enrichment programme 2026-7. Staff lead Mr Mumford (pictured above) opened proceedings by giving an overview of the many options available to Year 12 to participate in during the Wednesday afternoon slot over the course of the year.

And of the huge benefits to university and work applications of work-related learning and of expanding core vocational, academic, personal, and life skill-sets.

Staff who deliver the options presented on course content, including Mr Regan (pictured above) who leads on the Team Work and Leadership course. And Mrs Evans on our First Aid training course that leads to qualification:

Options are also available to Year 12 in Mock Trials, Peer Mentoring, Perspectives Editorial team, Electronics, Engineering, Debating, Sign Language, Cookery, Football, Volleyball, Summer sports, and Fitness Suite, as well as in Silver qualification for Duke of Edinburgh:

And the opportunity to undertake work experience placements in a variety of sectors.
Year 12 will now apply for places on their courses of choice, and we look forward to sharing updates on all that they achieve!
