Yesterday evening it was time for a very special event on our school calendar ...

Prom night for our Year 13 students!

After all their hard work over 2 years on their A level courses.

And now that exam season is over, it's a well-deserved time for celebration!

Year 13 students Jess, Millie (pictured below) and our Senior Prefect Team worked incredibly hard on organising this fantastic night for their Year group at the fabulous Manchester Hall and everyone looked spectacular!

It was a time to celebrate, not only with peers but with staff.

Everyone enjoyed a sumptuous meal before a fantastic awards ceremony with many of our Year 13s receiving awards for a multitude of achievements and attributes.

And huge congratulations to Prom King Alex seen below receiving his award from Head of Year 13 Mrs Mohamed and Head of Sixth Form Mrs Mangham-Dewhurst:

Dancing went on into the night, a really great finale to their time at UGS Sixth Form for our brilliant Class of 2026!
