Paris and MOSI as Year 10 embark on work experience week!
It's only Tuesday, and, already, it's been a really busy week so far for our students! Work experience week has launched for Year 10, and we look forward to sharing lots of updates on their experiences. Our lead picture is one of our first images from Paris, as yesterday a cohort of our Year 8 students set off by coach yesterday for the French capital.

They have already visited Montmartre, including taking in the majestic Sacre-Coeur, in addition to lots of sightseeing and the opportunity to put their spoken French into practice by ordering in lunch and buying souvenirs!
Science and Industry Museum
Meanwhile, our Year 8s who have remained in Urmston have spent today at Manchester’s iconic Science and Industry Museum, starting with time exploring the discovery floor. More to follow!

Science Club

Last but by no means least, learning rocketed ahead this week at KS3 Science Club as the students took part in a fun workshop learning all about the four forces of flight which they then applied when building water rockets.

Before long, it was time to head out to the front field for an exciting launch with Mr Murray and Mr Sharp!
