biology success

And charity from our kind-hearted school community!
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our Year 9 and 10 students who achieved a GOLD award in the recent national Biology Challenge 2026: this means that they are in the top 5% of students who participated from 48,000 students nationally!
This is an incredible achievement and just some are pictured above this morning with Mrs Walsh, who organised their participation in the challenge: Raza 10T, Jacob 10S, Arkar 10M, Mrinaal 10R, Adam 10R and Joseph 10T; and (not pictured): Tina 9U, Kelvin 9S, Aamna 9U, Ellie 10U, Halla 10T, Anna 10T and Adam 10U. We're incredibly proud of you all - well done!
Fund-raising bake sale for Refugee Week
Also, today, a group of our kind-hearted students baked and donated a huge variety of delicious cakes and cookies to raise money for Manchester Refugee Support Network.

They also worked really hard setting up and selling goods, at break and lunch and we're also incredibly proud of our many students who turned out to show their support.

Really well done for demonstrating our core school values of Pride, Participation and Empathy!
