Year 12 at Oxford university

Truly inspirational visit for our students!

Yesterday, 25 of our Year 12 students were invited to Brasenose College, Oxford. In a fantastic opportunity, they firstly took part in a welcome and inspirational and informative talk on the application process and life at Oxford from our host Joe.

Before enjoying a guided tour both from Joe:

And from current Oxford undergraduates, a great chance to explore the superb grounds and facilities.

It was then time for a truly delicious lunch in the majestic dining room of Brasenose.

Before meeting up with former UGS student Abi, now in her second year at St Edmund's Hall (Teddy Hall) reading German and Linguistics.

Abi toured our students around Teddy Hall and delivered a fantastic Q&A.

It was fantastic to catch up with Abi and hear all about her experience at Oxford and future plans. Finally, there was a little time left for our students to explore Oxford itself, with some taking in the awe-inspiring Natural History museum!

With huge thanks to our hosts at Brasenose, to Abi, and to the undergraduates who kindly gave their time today, and our students left truly inspired to apply.
