Mr Connell is proud to showcase recent work produced by 7R in response to their study of romantic poet and painter William Blake.

On researching and studying Blake and his iconic poem "A Poisoned Tree" particularly.

7R were tasked with composing their own poem about a tree and capturing themes of emotions, revenge and human nature.

They were also asked to illustrate their work, and Mr Connell was impressed not only by their deployment of rhyme, rhythm, caesura, enjambment and figurative language, but also by their illustrative talents. All impressed, but a special shout out to the work of Mia:
