hitting the slopes

Yesterday, a group of our students from Years 8–13 jetted out of Manchester to the stunningly scenic ski resort of Bardoneccia in the Italian Alps.

They have wasted no time in hitting the slopes and learning the basics, in what is a first experience of the sport for many.

The tour party are staying at the amazing Olympic Village Hotel, which is near to the centre of town and the lifts, and hosted the athletes of the 2006 Winter Olympics. 

After a fun day on the slopes, our students can look forward to lots of après-ski, including ice skating, swimming, tubing, a cinema night and a disco.
