Y7 house event & netball news

Today it was beginning to look a lot like Christmas as there was a very festive house event taking place for Year 7 in our Reading Room. Yes, it was time for the Christmas Books Quiz, accompanied by those all-important festive treats and coveted house points!

An opportunity for our Year 7s to pit their wits on all things festively literary, from timeless classics like Little Women and A Christmas Carol.

To the more contemporary The Polar Express (yes, it did start life as a book before the iconic movie)!

Year 7 truly impressed with their enthusiastic participation; there were some impressively high scores, with huge congratulations to our overall winners: Aaminah, Zoha and Edie 7T. Well done!

7R team Sophie, Elise & Sophia took Second place and Mia 7R and Sharon 7M were runners up. Isaac 7U received a special prize for the highest-scoring individual entry.

Netball Success

Also, today we are delighted to share news that our Year 7 netball team won their league match yesterday evening 13-10, having played with great spirit and determination.
