year 13 wellbeing day

A rewarding day for Year 13 after all their hard work during the mocks!

Today the Sixth Form Team organised a special day for our Year 13 students following the completion of their mock exams.

The day began with a special assembly with a well-being theme and a fun quiz. It was also the perfect opportunity for students in the year group to receive their extracurricular awards for their participation in our extracurricular programme and to be awarded their First Aid certification, and the recipients of each are pictured below. Well done!

Throughout the day, the Sixth Form Hub was a dedicated space for Year 13 to enjoy well-being activities when not in class.

These included participating in some fun seasonal creativity.

And table tennis!

The students also enjoyed the opportunity to engage in well-being activities in some of their lessons, including in Mrs Chadwick's German class, where they enjoyed playing German board games and reflecting on all that they have read so far in the Literature module.

A lovely day for the cohort to come together as a community for some rest and relaxation, and to recharge in readiness for moving forward during this all-important year.
