Urmston Grammar Open Evening 2026

Wednesday 17th June 2026 from 4-8pm


We are delighted to invite Year 5 children along with their parents/carers to our Open Evening which will take place on Wednesday 17th June. At Urmston Grammar, we recognise the huge importance of getting an impression and genuine feel for our school as you begin to consider school options and choices. During our Open Evening event, you have the opportunity to see our amazing students and staff in action and hear presentations from our Headteacher and the Leadership team, along with our Senior Prefects and current Year 7 students. You will have the option of a guided tour from a current student, or to explore our school independently. No prior registration is needed - please come along and experience what Urmston Grammar is really about! SEE OUR PROSPECTUS HERE Polite Notice Traffic in the Urmston area is always incredibly busy on our Open Evening, so where possible we recommend walking or using public transport. If travelling by car, it is advisable to park at either Golden Hill Park Car Park (M41 5AT) or for free at Eden Square Shopping Centre (M41 0NA). Both are only a short walk to Urmston Grammar School. If parking within the surrounding area, please be mindful of local residents. Please avoid driving down Newton Road. This is likely to be very congested and with limited parking. No parking is available on the school site except for Blue Badge Holders. Please email office@urmstongrammar.org.uk to arrange an accessible parking space if needed.
