year 7 residential

There was much excitement in the air this morning as 7U, R and M excitedly gathered to await their departure for our annual Year 7 residential trip to the fantastic YMCA Lakeside Centre in Ulverston.

Year 7 proudly sported their UGS Lakeside hoodies and were fully-equipped with practical outdoor clothing for their outward-bound adventures.

The forms departed on time in the glorious sunshine, and we hope it's here to stay!

On arrival, our students will enjoy some lunch before wasting no time in joining the afternoon's programme of activities that includes kayaking, raft-building, search and rescue training and a challenge course.

We look forward to sharing updates on all that Year 7 enjoy, and on forms 7S and 7T when it is their turn to take part from Wednesday!
