year 12 information evening

Fantastic to welcome so many parents & carers!

We were delighted tonight to host our Year 12 Information Evening for the parents and carers of our new cohort of Year 12 students, and it was great to see so many in attendance.

Head Mr Kennedy-Fowler opened proceedings with a warm welcome, and shared his pride in the fantastic start to the year made by our new Year 12 cohort, and the outstandingly positive feedback received from Year 12 tutors about the year group. Mr Kennedy-Fowler also shared his belief that "knowledge is power" and discussed our long-standing school tradition of fostering strong relationships with our community of parents and carers and of harnessing and welcoming their investment in their child's UGS journey.

Head of Sixth Form Mrs Mangham-Dewhurst (pictured below) then gave an overview of our Sixth Form ethos, and of the outstanding A level results achieved by our students this year, our best A level results ever.

Along with Assistant Head of Sixth Form (Year 12) Mr Neale (pictured below), Mrs Mangham-Dewhurst shared information about our core 6th Form values, routines, expectations and opportunities, that are all designed to create ambition and foster success.

These include:
