With the support of Mrs Wall, Mrs Daley and Mrs Griffin, our PTA ambassadors organised a fabulous fun summer fair at lunchtime for our students yesterday.

This was all for a good cause: to help former student and super-talented lacrosse player Oscar (pictured below with Mrs Wall) realise his dream of representing England at the U20s Men's World Lacrosse Championships in South Korea next month, as all athletes must self-finance their trip.

Determined not only to support Oscar in her own inimitable way, and to bow out for retirement tomorrow in style, Mrs Wall bravely offered her services to the hugely popular super-soaker experience.

And our Co-Head Mr Kennedy-Fowler leant a hand!

There were lots of games and activities to enjoy.

Not to mention edible treats!

Another great school community day embodying our true UGS spirit.

With huge thanks to our PTA ambassadors, and to all the 6th formers, students and staff who assisted and/or turned out to show their support.

But most of all to Mrs Wall for delivering a truly special and memory-making end-of-term (and retirement) experience that has earned its place in the UGS Book of Legend!
