house reading champions

As we approach the Whit break, we are delighted to announce our House reading champions for this half term:

Thomas 9M, Kara 7S, Anita 7T, Rosie 8R and Muhammad 7U (not pictured).

All have impressed us with their commitment to literacy and to participating in our summer house reading challenge; and to exploring the new titles available in our library in a variety of genres.

Rosie receives the house award for having read the greatest number of ebooks on our ebook platform, a fantastic resource that gives our students even greater access to a wealth of titles.

We look forward to seeing our students continue their UGS reading journey, with lots to look forward to, including tomorrow's visit from author and scriptwriter Daniel Dockery, a new reading challenge after the break, our summer book fair and a special end-of-term reading celebration.
