year 12 visit Lancaster university

Huge thanks to Lancaster University for welcoming our Year 12 students and staff today for a brilliant insight into university life and invaluable advice on choosing universities and courses and on the application process.

Special thanks to Darcy and Kirk from Recruitment and Admissions for delivering fantastic presentations, and to all the undergraduate student ambassadors – including Hamed (pictured below) – who gave their time to answer questions from our Year 12s and to give guided tours around campus.

Lovely to hear so much positive feedback from our students about what a great day it's been and how useful they've found the experience.

Also today: Science Club

The Forensics theme continued in this week's Science Club as it was time for our students to get hands on with some fibre analysis:

And they were delighted to welcome a very special guest as Mr Kennedy-Fowler dropped in to see our scientists in action!
