gcse presentation evening

It was fantastic this evening to welcome our GCSE Class of 2026 students, parents and carers to presentation evening and also Councillor Tom Ross, leader of Trafford Council, who kindly gave his time to award certificates and prizes to our students and to deliver an inspirational speech, reflecting on his own journey and career and encouraging our students to aim high and grasp opportunities but also to embrace and reciprocate local and wider community and support.

Talented pianist Leonidas opened proceedings, followed by a warm welcome from our Head, Mr Kennedy-Fowler, and our Chair of Governors Nick Crowther.

It was then time for the presentation, not only of GCSE certificates.

But of subject specialist awards and commendations for outstanding achievements.

Year 12 Jonah (lead picture) delivered a brilliant closing thanks and warm tribute to the contributions of all in our school community to the achievements of our students: our leadership team, our teaching & support staff, our governors, our site staff, and, of course, our fantastic community of parents & carers.

It was so lovely to welcome so many of our students, parents & carers, governors & staff to this fantastic celebration of all that the cohort achieved and of their outstanding GCSE results.
With huge thanks to Tom Ross for supporting our celebration and to all who attended.
