house week continues

After Bradfield launched on House week on Monday with their celebratory assembly, yesterday it was the turn of Mersey, delivered by House leader Mr Harrison and prefects Zena, Angus, Albin, Harrison, Alesha and Jamie (lead picture).

A wonderful celebration of the achievements of all of our Mersey students with a special mention to Kelvin 10S, who was presented with a voucher prize for having been awarded the most house points for Empathy and Isabelle 8T for being the highest house point awardee in Mersey so far this year. Well done!

Today it was Park's turn, led by House leader Mr Tabor and prefects Celine and Katie.

Still Orme and Oak to go, we can't wait!

Macmillan Coffee mornings

For a cause that means a great deal to our school community, yesterday our 6th formers organised a fund-raising coffee morning and bake sale for the charity.

And today it was the turn of our staff to join together to show their support.

Celebrating success

Last but by no means least, we're incredibly proud of accomplished clarinet player Rosa 7T who, following a successful audition, has been awarded a place in the National Children's Orchestra!

This is a fantastic achievement. Well done Rosa! Rosa has been playing clarinet since Year 3 and performs once a term with the Trafford Music ensemble at Stoller Hall.

Brilliant news and we look forward to sharing updates on all that Rosa achieves!
