We could not have been more proud or delighted on this gloriously sunny day as our amazing Year 13 A level Class of 2026 collected their outstanding results.

In what marks another brilliant year for our Sixth form, 73.8% of all grades achieved by our students were A*-B!

Huge congratulations to all of our students, including Pearl, pictured above, who has successfully secured her place to read Medicine at Liverpool University; and Ben, who can be seen in our lead picture with Head Mr Kennedy-Fowler and Head of Sixth Form Mrs Mangham-Dewhurst, who achieved 3 x A*s and an A, successfully securing his place at Durham University to read Mathematics.

Adam (pictured above) achieved a phenomenal 4 x A*s, and will be heading to Manchester University to read French and German.

A huge number of our students achieved A*s and As, but, as Mr Kennedy-Fowler observes, as important as these headline figures is each individual student's success.

Many of our Year 13s have successfully secured places at their first choice of university and on competitive courses spanning Medicine, Dentistry, Law, Architecture, Engineering, Biomedical Science and Psychology, to a huge variety of fields. And at universities, including many in the Russell Group, and ranging from Durham, York, Manchester, Warwick, Leeds, Liverpool and Bristol, to name just some. We also have students who will be taking up places on Degree Apprenticeships and Apprenticeships.
