a busy beginning

It's been lovely to welcome our students back to school today, and while the GCSE and A level exams resume for our Year 11 and 13 students, for Science Club it was time for their first meeting of the new half term.

They enjoyed time outdoors pond-dipping:

With some hands-on learning, investigating freshwater invertebrates. 

Meanwhile, our Year 9 Art students made an impressive start to their work creating cardboard street art monsters.
