celebrating participation

This term's House Reading Champions & final preparations for our Cultural Day!

We're delighted to start the final week of term by celebrating our House Reading Champions: Jeremy 7R (Orme); Sanvika 7S (Bradfield); Hadassah 7M (Mersey); Wad 7T (Oak) (all pictured) and Muhammad 8U (Mersey).

They have been awarded a high number of house points for having read the greatest number of titles from our library and for their participation in our house reading challenges.

They proudly collected their certificates and prizes from the LRC this morning, and we look forward to seeing them continue their UGS reading journey. Well done!

Also, today, we have been putting together the final preparations for Cultural Day tomorrow.

Just some of our performers are pictured in final rehearsals:

The stage is set:

And we can't wait to welcome our students (and staff) to school in clothes that represent their culture.

We are asking for £1 donation that will be shared amongst charitable causes and, as well as what promises to be a spectacular runway show, there will be multicultural stalls to visit and enjoy.

Huge thanks to everyone in our school community who is supporting and contributing to our special day of celebration!
