school council charity collection

Interhouse Sports and more as our students do us proud!

Our kind-hearted School Council organised a special collection of Easter egg donations for children on Wythenshawe Hospital's Starlight ward.

We could not be more proud of how everyone in our wider school community got behind this, and we are delighted with the huge amount of Easter eggs that were despatched to the hospital this morning.

And a big shout-out to School Council representatives Bella and Phoebe for all their hard work boxing up the eggs for delivery this morning.

Year 11 Interhouse Sports

We have seen the last leg of our Interhouse sports tournaments this week.

Year 11 proudly wore the colours of their houses to compete in table tennis, dodgball ...

And badminton. Lots of friendly competition and team spirit was on display, well done to everyone who took part!

Year 7 Netball

This evening, our Year 7 netball team shone at the Trafford Netball tournament, winning 4 out of their 6 matches. Mrs Evans is extremely proud of how far the team have come so far this year. Well done girls!

Cultural Day rehearsals

We are very much looking forward to our Cultural Day on Tuesday 31st March, when we are inviting our students to wear cultural clothes and attend our multicultural fair of food stalls.

There will also be a runway show performance and today some of our performers were putting the finishing touches to their song and dance routines, looking and sounding great.

We can't wait for Tuesday!
