We always have a passion for all things literary here at UGS, and as Valentine's Day is just around the corner, it seemed timely to celebrate this!

We held a special KS3 house event at lunchtime in the Reading Room: "Blind Date with a Book", making great use of the suitably-themed red space.

Our students discovered, explored and rated a range of titles from a mystery selection.

It was lots of bookish fun and a great many walked away with their ideal book match!

Lovely to see so many excited readers participating, and we look forward to our planned programme of World Book Day house events and challenges after the break!

Half-Term House Reading Champions

We're also delighted to celebrate this half-term's House Reading Champions: well done to Oliver 7R, Muhammad 8U, Sanvika 7S, Wad 7T (pictured) and Olive 7U and Hadassah 7M.
