A Symphony of Season's Greetings that raised the roof!
This evening saw us welcome students, parents and parents to a very special date on our UGS calendar: our Festival of Christmas 2025!

A spectacularly seasonal opportunity for our talented Performing Arts students, Junior and Senior Choirs, School band, soloists like Chloe:

Dancers, drama club and readers to showcase their talents while ushering Christmas in for our school community.

Mr Kennedy-Fowler opened proceedings with a warm welcome.

That was followed by a wealth of ensemble performances.

And individual showcases of talent, including Elia and Leonidas (pictured below) on piano with Johnson's Over the Bars and Mozart's Alla Turka respectively.

Violinist Elton with Pachelbel's Canon in D:

Flautist Joel with Wedgwood's "Cat Walk":

Vocal Soloist Evelyn with Sia's Snowman:

Dance (Birdy's Keeping Your Head Up):

Performances from our Drama Club:

Readings from Max (Shakespeare's Sonnet 97), Praise (Takamura's Winter Has Come), and Anna (pictured) with Renkl's Falling a little bit in love with the Dark:

The performances were interspersed with the opportunity for the audience to rousingly join in carols before a grand finale involving all performers in an epic rendition of All I Want for Christmas is You, arranged by Lead Teacher of Music Mr Harrison:

A truly magical UGS evening, with huge thanks to all of our performers, to all who attended, and to our dedicated Performing Arts staff who work so hard to create these wonderful opportunities for our students.
Next: Little Shop of Horrors, our forthcoming 2026 production, we can't wait!
