sport success

Well done to our Year 12 football squad and Year 8 netball team!
Today our Year 12 football Electives squad (pictured above) played a visiting team from Wellington school and in the chilly temperatures, it was a nail-biting game.

Our Wednesday afternoon Electives programme gives Year 12 an invaluable opportunity to enrich and broaden their learning and vocational horizons, and team sports is just one of the many options we offer, amongst work experience in the wider community, first-aid certification, engineering, surgical stitching, criminology and much more.

We're really proud of our team who managed to rally to an impressive 4-3 victory. Well done all!
Year 8 Netball
We're also really proud of our 8B netball team who played against Wellington yesterday evening with a final score of 7-7. And in an amazing achievement, Wellington awarded their Player of the Match to our very own Poppy, who scored 3 fabulous goals for UGS.

Really well done girls, keep up the great work!
