celebrating extracurricular participation

Delighted today to award our students for their engagement in our extracurricular programme!

We are extremely proud of our extracurricular provision and the huge variety of clubs we offer in a wide range of subjects and areas of interest, and we are equally proud of the huge number of our students who take part in many of the opportunities on offer.

We have been delighted today to award Gold, Silver and Bronze certificates to students from across the year groups who attend at least 5, 3 and 2 of our clubs respectively, and while Year 10, pictured above and below, received theirs in a special celebration assembly from Pastoral Leader Mr Gough.

Others, including Year 8 in our lead picture and below, received theirs during a special form time celebration.

Really well done all, and keep up the fantastic work!

Year 7 Netball

Our Year 7 Netball team also did us proud yesterday evening when they played with real spirit and determination against a strong Flixton team, showing great effort and resilience to rally and bring the final score to 14-8 from being 11-2 down in the final quarter. Well done girls!

Sixth Form

Also today, Year 12 Mentoring Day took place, an important opportunity for all students from the year group to meet with their mentors to discuss, reflect upon and celebrate the progress they have made so far; to agree objectives and goals; and to plan their academic and vocational pathways moving forward.

Applications to join our Sixth Form are now open

After welcoming a huge number of Year 11 students, parents and carers to our Sixth Form Open Evening on Wednesday, we are pleased to announce that applications to our Sixth Form are now open and can be accessed via the link on our website. We very much look forward to hearing from you!
